Is there a minimum Age Requirement?
It depends upon the position. The Federal Fair Labor Standards Act permits for lawful employment of minors who are 14 years of age or older. However, your local Giant Eagle store or warehouse may or may not have opportunities for minors younger than 16. And we do have some jobs that require a minimum age of 18 or 21 years of age.
How do I apply to work at a New Store?
Part of the process of opening a new Giant Eagle supermarket, GetGo, or Market District location includes hiring happy and customer focused Team Members. The interview process will begin several weeks before the store actually opens. Please watch for local advertising and signs posted at the store which will indicate when the hiring begins.
